Can any fellow Grady owners recommend a fishing charter in the Groton/Mystic/NewLondon area? My son and I are making a visit to the area in late September
For big stripers I would go with Capt. Bruce Millar of the Otter in Groton. Playing Hooky is also good and in Groton. For blues you could jump on the Blackhawk (party boat out of Niantic) the Sunbeam(partyboat) or Mijoy(partyboat) across the river in Waterford, The Helcat(partyboat) in New London or really any charter for that matter.
The Bonita II sails out of Watch Hill Harbor and has quick access to great fishing right off the coast. Watch Hill is only about 1/2 hour east of New London. You and your son will love it.
