Fixing my 228, autopilot and power steering question

I don't know if you usually fish alone, or have company, but pulling traps and/or running on auto pilot are two good reasons to have an overboard kill switch, like a FELL MOB.

Livewell pump is replaced. Old was a Pentair "continuous duty"

I usually fish with company and I already have the Fell MOB. I'm not a fan but I believe California is going to make that mandatory soon.
My issue with it is I can't plumb it into the kicker without voiding the warranty (or so I'm told) and I'm way more likely to go overboard when the kicker is running, when the main engine is running I'm at the helm, pretty darn hard to fall in from there.

Livewell pump is changed. Old was Pentair "continuous duty" and noisier than my kicker, new is Rule 800 GPH that you can barely hear when the boat is in the driveway.

I may update this thread after I get the boat on the water, some of the amazon reviews for the rule said it wasn't that strong. 800 GPH is 13 GPM so it should take around 2 minutes to fill my livewell. Someone said 11 minutes so if that is true I will be looking for another pump.

Update after a day of fishing: Rule 800 GPH pump is great! Very quiet, fills the livewell fast, highly recommended.

Autopilot and power steering are going in on January 30th.

I've got an Edson speed knob waiting for me at West Marine, that's an easy install.

Dialing it in bit by bit. As I said to my buddy who did most of the work on the pump swap, at least it's a Grady, it feels worth it to put a bunch of effort into a Grady. If this was some worn out crappy boat, the effort seems too much.
