Floating boat lifts for Freedom 275

I am moving to a water privileged community in Annapolis. The community marina allows floating boat lifts but not traditional mounted lifts.

It looks like most floating lifts would struggle to support a GW Freedom 275, which could be up to 8,000 lbs with full tanks.

Does anyone here have experience with floating lifts? Any feedback based on good or bad experiences? My boat is now 12 years old and has always been stored in a drystack, so I am pretty hesitant to scour and paint the bottom now.

I assume there are some existing lifts in the marina? I don’t see any power on that pier down the middle, how will you pump the water out?

There are no lifts yet - I’m going to be the first. There is power available if needed, but my understanding is that some floating lifts have solar and battery so they don’t need shore power.

that is stupid expensive. the 12,000lb for boats 27-34 feet from air dock has a retail price of just over $7k. depending on specifics, you may be able to get a less expensive one.

Jet Dock said their 27’ floating lift would be $33k plus $8k for delivery and installation, the 27’ wide version would be $38k plus $8k.

Agree that is way too much money. There is not nearly as much hardware on a floating lift. Just an air pump. No multiple motors or pilings. No cables and gearboxes.

I would keep shopping
