With two units in the electronics box I don't have room for the VHF. Anybody with a 225 Tournament flush mounted their VHF? Pics? I was thinking under the steering wheel to the right. I hate to cut a hole in her but have no choice unless I gimble/ram mount one of the units on top of the electronics box.

When I had my 205, I had the VHF mounted below the steering wheel, with a remote speaker next to the throttle. I wasn't crazy about the location, but I had a space problem on the dash as well.

I went from a Icom 302 to a 422 and had to recut the hole. In an effort to get a cleaner look, I had Fin-Addict cut me a template. The finished product looked great.

chet, did you buy the vhf yet? this may be a good application for one of the black box units. bury the box inside the console and only have the mic/control hanging on the helm. ron

Yes I already bought the ICOM 422. I got the flush mount kit also. I may still try to put it in the electronics box and RAM mount one of my Combo units.
