The time has come to sell my beloved 2002 Grady White Tournament 192, the Hard Asset. I believe I am the 2nd owner of this boat. I can verify that, as I know the person from who I bought it. The boat is lift kept and available for showing/sea trial in Jacksonville, Florida in the San Marco area.
This boat is powered by the original Yamaha OX66 SWS II 150 hp engine, which has been maintained by Mike Manier at Morningstar Marina since my purchase of the boat. It has good compression. I replaced the head gasket and head cover when I purchased, which was at the recommendation of Mike.
Upgrades/replacements are as follows:
New cushions around 2022.
New two piece cover around 2022.
New Owens and Sons Aluminum Slide On dual axle (torsion) trailer around 2021-can verify through title.
Complete, professional rewire in 2023 with tinned copper wire, including new panel and gauges being refreshed by gauge saver, new bilge pump and bait well pump.
New sending unit 2021.
New Simrad Go9 multifunction display and 3 in 1 transducer in 2022.
New Raymarine VHF radio (with gps positioning) in 2020.
New freshwater wash down pump in 2020.
New freshwater wash down nozzle (correct make) in 2024.
New clarion head unit - 2023.
New Clarion amp - 2023.
New house battery in 2023.
I routinely take this boat on 60-80 mile round trips to St Augustine, Fernandina, and offshore. She needs nothing but a new horn. Everything on her is in good working order (aside from horn).
I’ve toyed with the idea of a repower, but my mechanic says that the engine that is on her is as good as Yamaha has ever made, and he wouldn’t replace it.
Top speed is around 42 mph at 5200 rpms. I usually cruise around 4000 rpms and that’s around 30 mph give or take 1 or 2 depending on wind/load.
she holds 60 gallons of fuel. I’ve only ever burned non-ethanol, but can’t speak to prior owner’s use.
She’s not perfect, but she is well taken care of and shows good for her age. The trailer, cushions, cover, electronics upgrade, rewire, panel, etc., represent about $8-9,000 in upgrades over the last 3 or so years.
$15,500 obo. Everything conveys but the name. Please email me or pm me for pics.
