I see on the Grady site that they have posted performance numbers with the new 300 hp engine. Just wanted to give you my real world experience so far with this boat with hardtop and the 300 hp setup. We are unable to get the recommended 89 octane gas so are running with 87 and we are getting numbers almost identical to Grady performance data and even slightly better. Just thought I would let you know. Love this engine and hope that Grady posts data with the 350 which the 255 is rated for, would be interested in the differance. As an FYI for those who may be thinking about this boat, I would say the boat could easily handle the extra weight of the 350 which I did not want on mine. She has a tendancy to "squat" a bit at the bow at low speeds (not on plane) and the extra weight on the stern could actually help.

Bukster: I believe that Grady has F350 numbers for the 257 and 258. Same hull and probably similar weight so should give you a good idea. And I agree that for those of us who prefer single engines, the F350 looks to be ideal.
