I am a new boat owner. Just purchased a 1995 Islander. Filled the freshwater tank the other day and all was working fine. Went fishing and we drained the tank. Refilled it yesterday and all the water runs out into the bilge. Obviously there is a leak. Don't know where to begin. Any suggestions?

Not sure. I can see the line from the fill valve to the tank and that appears to be okay. I guess my next step is to pull up the floor board and see if I can find the leak. The water is running out very fast. Bilge is full immediately after filling the tank. This is the second time I have filled the tank. First time no problems, except galley sink did not work. Head sink, cockpit shower, and faucet worked fine all day.

Had a similar problem a couple weeks ago with my Marlin... I was docked at a slip for the weekend and turned on the water heater and left the boat for a couple hours... My guess is that as the tank heated up, the pressure caused the hose to slip from the tank's inlet??? Couldn't figure out why I didn't have any water pressure when turned on... especially since I had just filled the holding tank before leaving home...
I was able to hear the water running from somewhere when the water pressure switch was turned on. Was able to narrow it down after that. Since all of your outlets are working except the one, I would trace that hose from the faucet back to the water tank.
Good Luck!

Unless your tank was full of water and froze it should be fine. It's probably a bad hose or fitting somwhere.

You said the galley faucet is not working. Is the water pump running when bilge is filling up. If so the hose going to the galley sink is probably disconnected at the faucet. If so you will probably have to remove the fridge to get to it. Not a big deal. 6 or eight screws. The water pump is under the top step when going down into cabin. Good luck.

Not really, as long as no salt water is entering it's more of a PIA than anything else as long as the bilge pump works. If 30 gallons leak out of the fresh water tank, it's still the same weight just not where you last left it. Don't put in too much water until you find the leak.
