Fuel Sending unit, 86 204c 65gal tank

I wouldn't. Email Grady White for sender length, then go to http://www.wemausa.com/

give sender length, see unit on right side of home page.

A far superior product, IMHO. And no needle jumping around the dial on these babies. No exposed electrical either. Flange is cast steel.
Keep old screws from existing units.

Good luck, watch the fumes.

sf, reach out to one of the tank guys in the Tom's River area, Atlantic Welding is who I got my new tank from. These guys KNOW what they're talking about.

Leave the bad unit in there (re-seal it if leaking) and spend your money on a Northstar fuel flow meter instead. Lots more functionality and once calibrated it will tell you how much fuel you actually have left...as long as you remember to reset the amount of fuel in the tank when you gas up. I think they're about $99 now.

I had the Navman version on my old 204 and it was perfect.

gw makes a good point. I have the Navman GPS w/fuel monitor. When calibrated correctly is amazingly accurate and does give alot more info than a gauge. I personally prefer to have all systems working properly.
