I am new to Grady as I just bought a 2000 192 tournament with a 200 Yamaha saltwater series. I love the boat. It was garage kept for the past 12 years and in perfect shape.
I have replaced a few tired parts, but my question is about the fuel sending unit. Do I need to replace it with the OEM ISSPRO? Or can I get a generic one, more like the one with a float?
Thanks for any input

The best ones out there are made by WEMA.

www.wemausa.com

Call Grady Cust Service at 252-752-2111 and they will give you the length you need to order (based on the depth of the tank)....

Be careful when you remove the screws as the aluminum tank is not very thick.....also - NEVER use a battery operated drill to remove the screws...one spark and some fumes and you will have a really bad day. Use either an air tool or a good old fashioned screwdriver.

Yes --- EXACTLY what is said above. Make sure the tank is below 1/2 full. A full tank will cause gasoline to run out when you remove the old sender. Be sure to install the rubber "O" rings on the screws and don't over-tighten. I installed the WEMA units in both tanks and haven't had a problem since.
