Ok, hate to beat the dead horse but I cleaned the o-rings last week and went back out to check the tank today...there is a bit of condensation on the top around the sending unit...im ok right?

So, condensation is when warm moist air meets cold air or a cold surface and the moisture from the warm air turns to liquid when it hits the cool tank. Question, where do you live? Here in the Smokies one day it could be 72 daytime temps and a few days later it could be 34 at night. You could easily get condensate on the metal of a gas tank in swings like this especially big your dew points are in the 60s or 70s .

That used to drive me nuts. I recored the wood under the deck hatch and had a new gas tank that was sweating with condensate and the bottom of the deck was soaking wet and the tank was too every morning. So I made this out of an old deck plate. Then snapped in the regular one when I would use the boat. Kept the bilge getting fresh air to breathe and not make everything sweat. Now I gotta make three more up for my new boat that still has hard decks and good gas tank.
