1988-20' overnighter, have removed the aluminum tank and want to replace it with a poly tank.Anybody know where to go and if its a good move? Do I foam it in at the corners?

We replaced the 85 gallon aluminum tank in my dads 2001 19 Mako this spring with a 53 gallon poly tank from Great Lakes Skipper ...no issues with the tank and the cost was less than half of what an aluminum tank would have cost..plus we had it in 3 days...

I had a 87 overnighter and replaced the 65 gal alum with a 45 gal poly . I moved the tank as far forward in the compartment as possible and secured it with redwood 2x4`s you might as well change the fuel lines as well . it was a great move and now you dont have to worry about the alum tank from corrosion.
