Fuel tanks

I have a 2012 Freedom 205. Is the fuel tank aluminum. Boat is stored and can't look at it. I want to install a Raymarine EV-200 autopilot. If the tank is aluminum will it affect the accuracy of the EV1 sensor core?

Yes, your fuel tank is made of aluminum.

Simply follow the AP installation instructions. Typically, they ask for the AP's compass sensor to be low and in the middle of the hull away from machinery. Your center bilge access is likely where this will be installed. On my boat - it is something like 4' forward of my fuel tank. Installing an AP is an excellent addition to any boat. Good luck!
