My seafarer is dual on the side I dock my boat most from the fenders rubbing and a couple times bumping the dock. Also some little scratches.

What compound/gelcoat is best on a Grady to restore the shine?

Try Collonite hull cleaner first. If that doesn't work, move up to a polishing compound. If that doesn't help, rubbing compound is next and as a last resort, wet sanding.
The key is to use the least abrasive treatment that works.
