Grady 306 Transom Door won't stay closed

Any ideas on how to fix this? Handle releases underway.

Isn’t there a spring loaded locking pin that engages when the latch is closed?

The spring in the handle had corroded. Made a new spring which keeps handle now engaged. Problem solved.
