The original hinge is made by Southco. One thing to note is that the 'detent', the spot where the hinge kind of locks (but can be moved more) is different for different boxes. In your case, the 150 degree model is about right. In other words, the door will stay open when it's angle is 150 degrees. That is fairly wide open. On an overhead application, you might want a 90 degree detent since any greater and the door will bump into the hatdtop.
Southco hinges are somewhat expensive but are well made. A lot of the 8 or 9 dollar ones you see are knock offs. It's up to you. The southcos do wear out but mine last 10 years or so. You can't see the parts that may be lower quality. On the southco hinge, the pins springs and stops are good quality stainless steel

I think this is your model

When I needed to replace the hinges in my overhead electronics console I found the Southco hinges on eBay for about $20 each. I needed the 115 degree detent which is the C6-26, also found the C6-23 which is an 80 degree detent, both of those were rated at 15 pounds. There was also a free swinging model with no detents listed as a C6-20. Agree with Seasick, you can find cheaper but mine also lasted a bit over 10 years and I think they're worth the money.

I would go with the Southco as well.
In my old boat the originals lasted almost 20 years without any sign of rust. One on the glovebox the plastic cracked so it wouldn't hold up. I replaced it with the same bought from a Southco retailer not GW. Not worth the hassle buying the cheapies, probably made in China, to save a few $$. I never liked anything coming from China before. Under the current circumstances I wouldn't even think of buying Chinese stuff even if I have to pay 10 times the price.

Hi,
As seen in the picture I need new hinges for the glovebox/electronic box on my '97 Adventure 208. A search led me to these:

Any thoughts? Do they retrofit?

Thanks,
Don

I first bought the Chinese equivalent off eBay and regretted it as they are cheap and very loud and clunky when they hit that decent. Buy the Southco version as they are smooth and not at all loud, I learned a good lesson and ended up buying the Southco ones afterwards

I just checked my emails and the ones that I bought were Southco C6-4 part number 93-303 from sales@parsonsaero.com, they were awesome and even though I’m in Canada north of Seattle they were great to deal with. I chatted with Elizabeth Parsons who was great. The hinges were $15.75 each with a 115 degree detent, super smooth, you will not be disappointed.
