Folks, I had a bad case of dock rash last weekend and have to do a gelcoat repair and also repair a section of the blue stripe on the side. I have been searching for the striping, but seems some of the former sources have since dried up.
I can spray paint the stripe which I have done before and it looks and matches great, but this section is directly under the fuel tank vents which sometimes blows out some fuel when filling the tank and will eat any spray paint I would use. So I prefer to apply the vinyl tape.
Any ideas? I think this might be the 2" wide and the smaller stripe that might be about 1/2". I don't have the boat here to measure, but this seems to be a close guess.
Oh, and to add, I did send an email to Grady a few days ago asking if they have a source and no response.
This is for a 1992 252G Sailfish model.
