I decided to build a tackle station on my 228. I purchased a sheet(4x8) expanded pvc and went to work. I wanted to keep my cost and weight down. The last trays on the floor are removable so you can still access the inspection hatch. The tackle stations are held in place by Velcro attach to the carpet underneath the walk around walkway. The doors are removable, and the drawers have Velcro on the back so they don’t slide forward when the door is open. The tackle trays are held in place by bungee cords so they don’t slide out. I think it’s a great location it’s out of the way and all my tackle is organized. No more digging in the cabin for my tackle bag. Thanks buddy… that would give me enough time to test it out and tell you what I would do differently.

pretty nice job. could use as a template and have a cabinet built in the future if desired.
