I haven't seen may photos of a Gulfstream with a Cobia / Tuna tower on it and just got mine done and thought id share. I've been super happy with it and really haven't noticed any differences with stability. the boat will fish three guys in the tower comfortable on the right day and 1-2 in the tower almost any day.

Well done!

Indeed I don't think there are too many of those around.

When I read your post I thought it would look awkward but it actually looks like a factory installed option, Nice job!

I would love to do this on my 24, but I don't think I have enough beam. Looks great!

My buddy is actually getting one done on his 24 offshore now I’ll let you know how it feels! Where I’m at in the Chesapeake bay guys will throw a tower on anything they can to get on some cobia my first tower was actually on a 1903 bay liner trophy and would fish 2 guys in the tower I know not to smart but got a ton of fish!

I don't even need it to have a second station. Just a spot to hang out and spot tarpon, Cobia and a better vantage for offshore blackfin. Would like it to fold aft.

It’s a game changer for sure. But from my experience I said the same thing that I just needed a site tower no controls but after a month i wanted controls. This one folds in two pieces I can send a picture of it folded down on the trailer if you’d like to see it

Nicely done. Looking to get one done for mine this winter. There are several fabricators in the lower Chesapeake area. I've used Metal Works in Yorktown before. Do you mind telling us who did yours? Are you satisfied with the build quality? Was additional support added to the top?

I got a quote from metal works S&S Chesapeake bay fabricators and Kurtz marine and I could not believe the prices I was getting. I ended up driving down to Swansboro NC and had it done by cape point customs I paid 2400 for the seat control box ladder and all and the quality is every bit as good as any of the above guys l mentioned. Joe barns is top notch down there would highly recommend. and its actually the second tower he has done for me. you'll love the boat with the tower its a great platform. feel free to dm me if you have any other questions

This is my first season in the lower Chesapeake and must say I have a bit of tower envy. $2400 seems reasonable for the tower but how much $ for the whole project including controls?

I've caught a couple small ones chumming along with zillions of trash fish. Tried sitting on the roof of my 228 while my girlfriend drives with no success. Caught a decent one blind casting to bouy on my way into Hampton roads yesterday, felt good but came up a couple inches short.
Next season I may install a removable crows nest but I'd love to have full controls on a fold down I could trailer. It looks like yours folds backwards so would appreciate any photos of it in the down position and info on where the extra cables go when it's up.

I have roughly 3600 in it with controls new steering wheel and I pulled out the old copper hoses grady used and put in new hydraulic hoses back to the motor. i will post some more updated pictures with it folded down and what the upper and lower stations look like. if you have some mechanical ability and the time doing the rigging is a breeze took me about 1 full day. i will say the factory stuffing tube that grady uses is an 1 1/4" pipe and you will need to get a 2" pipe to run the rigging

Thanks I really appreciate it. I didn't have a great experience with Metal Works when I was looking to install my outrigger bases so I went with small shop Altist Metals in Poquosin. I'm not super happy with a couple things they did but they were super responsive and the price was right.

The rigger bases leave me really limited on roof real-estate but I'd love to have a one person setup or maybe big enough to squeeze my GF in up there on a choppy day ☺.
