Looking for a flush mount dash panel for a 2008 Grady White Marlin. I tried search, Ebay, Great Lakes Skipper. Needed for electronics upgrade. I have attached a picture of the part I'm looking for.

Thank you,
Brian Bunk

I have a 06 282 that has the same dash format. When I upgraded after purchasing the boat I made a new layer out of 1/2” king board and mounted it to the dash Panel.

There's no part #, You just buy some material and cut some holes w/ jigsaw. Very easy if you are handy. If not pay someone.

you can send your old panel to for a custom one https://www.boatoutfitters.com/?gcl...v2-RE2FglJKnp5Mj8ZF6uwdV-WrWbx7caAsH1EALw_wcB

Thanks for the reply, reason I want a spare is so I still have one in place while the other is at New Wire Marine being fitted with the new electronics.

My Marlin came with the box doors with a Garmin mounted inside. When I upgraded my electronics to hold twin displays, my installer used the same glossy black acrylic to cover the hole left by the removed doors and to mount the new displays. He was also able to attache the new face with screws from behind, so it's super clean. The acrylic matches the hardtop electronic box doors above.

You will most likely have to bring the existing to a good glass shop and have it re-done. It really should be straightforward. Another option is to add a piece on the front of the piece and 1/4 round the material.

My Guy is having a panel done for another boat where they took 1/4” aluminum and did the cut outs . He sent it out after fitting to have it dipped to exhibit a carbon fiber look. Going to let them guinea pig it to see the outcome first then maybe go that way.

Kizuna, if he still has your template this may be an option if you don't mind could you share his contact info?

The good thing is the flush mount cover (assume you have this), comes off easily and will be a nice template to work from or have it repaired without having to take the boat.

After thinking this through I decided to go with a Raymarine adaptor plate. Reason was easier, faster and no custom ordering. Overall I am pleased with the results. BTW I really like the Axiom Pro and the way it functions.

Brian, glad to see you found a simple and clean solution. Looks good and you have room for more gadgets ;). BTW, what are the snaps for? Helm cover?

That looks very good. Prob the least expensive attractive option out there.

Snaps are for cover to mainly protect the gauge and switch panel

I’m installing a new pair of 12” Garmins and will have the gloss black dash that Kizuna has. I’m thinking I’ll also replace the faux carbon fiber dash for the switches and gauges so that it matches the upper piece. Of course, then I’ll probably want to replace the old switches. It never ends.
