Just ran across this on Ebay. Looks promising, looks to be the right font also. The one from overseas wasn't.

They look close. Some things to check.
- I thought the edge was more of a step on the original versus a smooth roll over on those.
- Is the center color correct? Looks more black than dark blue. Could be the lighting in the pic.
- Font looks correct.
- The hyphen looks a bit off in the pic.

Still by far the closest I've seen. Originals are tough to find.

Never seen any originals come up for sale.

The color is black on those, I did contact them and they can do them in navy.

Mine is a roll, could be the age. Hyphen is off a little, but very close.

I got the ones from Serbia. Look good quality but the blue is too light.
Got navy and gold from discontinued decals. Pretty much a perfect match except not as thick as the originals.

I've got the measurement from them and will check mine as far as length. Might give them a shot. Best ones I've seen so far.

Yes they are , I think they changed around 2012 on the 228

Vendor has agreed to do me a set in navy and send me pics before purchase. Can't ask for more than that.

They are 1/4" thick, these are the late model, I don't have the old boat to measure the old type. KY should be able to measure them.

If I hadn't already replaced my stripes with the navy and gold to match the hull side colors, I would have gone with the newer style like wrxhoon.

Anxious to see what the vendor comes up with in the navy. He's been very responsive with his replies. Should have some pics of the navy/gold version next week.
