At the NY Show, many Gradys had F350s, even the single engine Journey 258 had the F350.

I don't know if this was covered before, but Grady said all of these hulls construction have been modified to take the F350, be it singles, twins, or tripples.

The Show Gulf had twin F150s, but I bet the Gulf, bracket style model, new or old, as is, can take the single F350 as long as the single bracket is so rated and deep enough, or otherwise replace the bracket. Single brackets are made for the F350, Yamaha catalog shows a Parker with one.

The 350 looks absolutely monstrous on the back of the Journey 258. There is also a single 350 on the 275 Tournament and it almost looks in proportion on that boat!

I also am totally hooked on the 336 Canyon- what a fishing machine!

Tri-State Marine in Deale, MD had a 232 w/ F350 the last time I was there so it can be done. Can't report how it looked because I didn't pay much attention to it because I've never like the 232.

If you are interested to see the F350 on the back of a Tournament 275 do a search in General Discussion for Tournament 275 and look at the posting Tournament 275/w F350 sea trial. I would post the photos again but have no clue as to how, someone else did it for me last time.

Yamaha 350

The Grady White website has some rigs and performance numbers with the Yamaha 350. Example-the Gulfstream 232. I was a little surprized that except for a slim margin in the mid-range, the twins had better overall mpg #s. Anyways, its worth a look-see.

If you do a search on the F350, you'll come to a site where it says that the single F350 is several hundred pounds lighter than the twin 150 set-up and about $2400.00 less.
