I am looking at this boat in Michigan. One owner in pristine condition. Powered by a 175 Yamaha with 150 actual hours. Tandem axle trailer with full canvas. Asking $21,000.00. I know what NADA says. I like the boat and have been searching for a grady quite awhile. For those who have owned this boat, any dislikes? I plan on trolling Lake Erie and wonder about big water capabilty. Lastly, does the price seem reasonable?

Thanks

Bud

I have the same boat that had a 200 yamaha 2 stroke. Repowered with 225 honda 2 years ago. The boat handles rough water pretty well but is a little short. I mainly run in the chesapeake bay but have been out 6 or so miles in the ocean. I have felt very safe in the boat but just wish it was a few feet longer at times. Price seems a little high to me with an older 2 stroke motor.

I may also be concerned about so few hours. I would rather have a motor be run more then just sit but that's my opinion. We probably had 1500 or so hours when our 200 went and have 125 hrs on the honda in a year and a half.

Is this boat located on or around lake leelanau? It sounds a lot like a boat I looked at last summer.

"Pristine" or not this is the great Michigan fire sale, fair value be damned. Get it surveyed and make a lowball offer...

Thanks for the feedback. I had thought the same about the engine and planned on having the boat surveyed. The boat is in Port Huron Michigan. Thanks

I am talking with the owner over the price. The boat is well taken care of. My only concern is the freeboard on this model at 23 inches where Grady changed that to 25 in 1999. Other than that it is a great looking boat. After fishing from my buddies 1998 208 Adventure for several years, I am just hooked on Grady quality. I should know more tomorrow.
