Repowering 2003 Gulfstream 232 from single Yamaha F225 to Yamaha 300 DEC. Has anyone gone with the new integrated electronic steering? Have no intention of installing helm master, and it seems like a significant premium considering you can fully replace hydraulic steering for less than half the cost differential. Also, any suggestions for display vs gauges?

I have no experience with the electric steering but I would opt for digital throttle and shift. I don't know offhand if you can get digital shift and throttle without electric steering.

I have a DTS F250 coming with hydraulic steering, electronic steering is and option. Also went gauges over display and can use the same gauge panel.
