I have a 2002 Gulfstream with twin Honda 130s with 1000 hours. I have no problems with the engines but I would like to explore my repower options. I would like to move up to twin 150s or 175s, either Honda again or Suzuki. I know there are factors that come in to the price like upgraded gauges or keeping originals. Can anyone give me a ballpark price, installed, so I have some idea when I start meeting with dealers? I'm in Ocean City MD. Thanks!

It's just about impossible with your parameters to estimate a price. For example, you can look up the list price of various motors but that is only a portion of the total cost. If you change manufacturer you will need new rigging such as harnesses and gauges. Perhaps you decide to go to digital controls. That adds cost for the motors and controls, but reduces the labor a bit to run new control cables. Does you steering need to be replaced or upgraded. Just too many variables. I suggest you decide on two or three configs and get quotes. Make sure you know what you are getting in each deal. That will give you a decent starting point. When you get the numbers, you will then probably come to the conclusion that your existing setup isn't that bad and you will run with it until the motors die.
I recommend contacting Outboard Specialties in Pompano Beach for a quote. I used them for repower. They shipped the engine to me in Kent Island and I had someone local install the engine.

I repowered with two Yamaha 200's last fall. The Inflatable Specialists https://www.inflatableboats.net/ in Ventura, California did it. I think they sell Honda's too. Got dent and scratch models (new). I replaced two Yamaha 200's (2004 V6 3.3L). I like the new I4 2.8L so far. The lighter motors are nice on the transom. Only 20 hours but so far so good. My $0.02.
