Regardless if you spend $50 each, it's better than 500-800 for new and you get a better chrome job.

They look outstanding! What did they look like before? Scratched, pitted, other corrosion? Mine are scratched pretty badly - 6 of them. I found a company in Fall River MA that will do them for $35 ea or more, depending on what condition they're in.

Seems like a project just to get them out- any issues here?

Thanks

All the above. There were pitted and scratched pretty bad. I asked the owner of the platers how the would come out. He told me that the acid bath would neutralize the corrosion and prepare them for the copper plating. The heavy copper plating fills in all the scratches and pits. Next they buff, then apply the nickel plating. Again buff and apply the Chrome.

Fish, oh dude they look great!! Should have mine tomorrow. Ok, how much are new stainless screws?

Couple bucks for screw, larger fender washer and locking nut times three. But if you want to save some cash you can soak the hardware in vinegar over night and they will look brand new with some wax in most cases. I rarely change hardware after I soak it in vinegar. It works on anything stainless.
