GW Freedom 255 - Gunwales Rod Storage

Just purchased a 255 Freedom and was wondering if anyone knows how long a rod I can place in the gunnel rod holders.

Not exactly the same boat but if you're talking about the rod storage under the gunnel, i stored 7 footers with no problem in my 258. just angle it in. There was plenty of room beside the starboard fishbox and port livewell to slide the rod tip up into.

Thanks Journeyman. I was going to buy a couple of 6'6" rods so I might be ok. I am not close to the marina where I bought the boat so appreciate the reply.

In my 228 I too have successfully and safely kept a 7 foot rod in the under the gunwale rod holders.
