TH - I got the socket off, but after the first 2" or so the wire insulation is in bad shape. I will try and post a picture tonight.

Here's a few pics of the anchor light base. As you can see, the wires are in bad shape. The mounting bracket comes off with 3 screws and exposes more of the inside. I bet you could pop out the contact base and solder new pigtails on. I didn't mess with it though.

Hey, is there any chance this sale fell through? My anchor/all around light base is broken and I'm actually having a really tough time locating a new one. Hell, I'd give you $50 for it. GW's parts department has been not very helpful...
