Guys,

Was the 256 Wahoo of 1981-1982 the only fiberglass hull inboard Grady made?

Was the 274 Sailfish that was built from 1999-2000 the last SeaV2 hull with a stern drive option?

Thanks,
John

I believe the last model gas sterndrive was the 1995 Gulfstream. When Grady cut over to the SV2 hull which was around 1990, these were all SV2 hulls. I have a 1993 Explorer with a SV2 hull and VP DP. Great boat and power plant.

You can review the past catlogs on the GW web site and see each model with power options.

Right, I knew about the catalogs. I have been using them for several years. Just trying to speed things up.

Any other GW inboards ever made. I have not been able to find them in the catalogs.

I clarified my SeaV2 question, above.

in 2000 they made a 27 sailfish that was powered with a Vovvo diesel. I believe there were less than 100 ever manufactured

one 27 volvo diesel still for sale at taylor marine in milford del. seen at the dover boat show. 160hrs and they where asking 75k. that was before everything imploded. very nice on a nice 10k# trailer.

Those years are correct for the 256 Wahoo. There were other inboards, but they were back in the wooden hull years (60s if I'm not mistaken). They were also in the upper 20s to low 30s in length. The real old catalogs have them...

:)

Just wanted to add my $0.02........

I like the i/o's better than the outboards..........much more user friendly.....I was able to replace my engine for ~$3K........all by myself in my diveway..........

A diesel Sailfish is also for sale at Taylor Marine in Marshfield ma. The boat brokered by Bayside Marine for 59K.

yes... 1978 20' Walk Around (Overnighter?) had a 305 v8 I/O. That was on the old lapstrake style fiberglasss hull.

I own a 1983 Kingfisher 25'5 with twin Mercruiser 470's. Twin inboards on a grady are a headturner at the Marina....

Hey Billy have the same boat same year. I had to repower last year, choices were limited for a twin install so I eneded up with a 496 merc. with a Bravo 1 drive. Goes good.
