Any one have any ideas on how to clean windshield and side windows of water spots. Marina's well water is terrible. After I wash boat usually wipe down windows but this year after taking cover off at Marina the windows are terrible. Tried just hot soapy water no help. Any suggestions?

I’ve used this product before and a waxing guy at the Marina said to use a green pad when applying. Haven’t tried that yet but plan to this week. Product worked well.

we've used steel wool & baking soda, and good old polishing compuond/ wax with some success...not perfect but much improved.

Have bad water etching where I live. On boat and truck and in house too.

Only thing I had luck with is light rubbing compound and heavy patience

I heard hard water also breaks down your wax layer.

Once you get the hard water spots off (as per above suggestions - I like Vinegar spray), I think it wise after your next trip to spend a little extra time and water blade, swipe off the hard water and chamois your glass and gel coat as best you can. The results are very good if you can do this regularly.
