I would be interested in any options and ideas to add a second seat in the helm for my Express 33.

Seems like it would be kind of tight and you would lose lots of seating. Maybe replace helm chair with a bench seat but wouldn't it make it hard to walk to cabin door?

I'm interested in that also. My mate (wife) sits on the starboard bench, but can't see ahead. I wonder if somehow providing a high seat/bench over the exisiting bench on the starboard side might be the answer. You could put a second helm seat far to starboard, but anything put to the port side would block access to the cabin.

I have just purchased a new to me 330. When I was looking at other Grady's I came across a boat in Mass. that had the second helm chair. It is a must as far as I am concerned. There was plenty of room since the base of the chair didn't cover any additional footprint then the bench already had. My wife is requesting putting it in also on the one we just put under contract. Besides, having another look out on the way to the Canyons will sure help. The chair that was used was a Factory Grady by Pompanette. Professionally installed and clean.

I have a 2002 with original seating. I have seen the second helm chairs mounted on the starboard side directly over the live well on some of the listings when I was looking for mine. I would be interested in the cost of adding a Grady quality second helm chair. Please list suppliers & costs when you come up with them.
