I have a 2012 Freedom 275. It has the Jabsco manual toilet with the hand pump. It has the electronic discharge that pumps the talk out overboard. When I try and discharge the tank by pushing the empty tank button it blows the 20 amp fuse. Any thoughts on what the problem is?

Old fuse/breaker... corroded wiring/connections... jammed up motor (either bad motor or physically jammed with crap)
I am leaning more toward bad motor. Any idea how hard it is to replace on that boat?

Probably a in-tank Grocco macerator. Great when they work. Confirm what you have. A picture of the top of the holding tank will confirm everything.

Symptoms are typical of bad motor. Expensive to replace but not worth fixing. Typically a winding goes bad. If you turn the motor they usually work for a while then land on the dead spot again. Unfortunately there isn’t a way to access the motor without removing it from the tank.
