For the most part it came through here last night. Gusts to 70, quite a few tornado warnings, lost power early a.m. for a few hours.
Tide was higher than the recent king tides due to southeast wind blowing water up the rivers, but no intrusive flooding.
So, just a big mess to clean up.
I talked to a friend in Clearwater Beach that got 5’ of water in his house, so I’m feeling very fortunate.
12 foot surge here in Inglis! We had 23” of water in our lower level (garage) 330 was secured to float above the lift and it rose 4-5’ but came back down about 6” off ideal placement. Used long scope mooring lines to trees and pilings to accommodate the tidal range. We had 70-80 knots and it had no damage! Ground level houses had 6+ feet in their house. No fatalities that I am aware of in our area. We were blessed! Tried to send pics but file too large don’t have time to reduce.
