The owner is very experienced with Grady White and this boat he had her for 11 years so i had a very good driver.nice, how did you like the ride?
Honestly on the first sight a bit wired for such a big and heavy boat, but i am used my same size RIB with a excellent sea keeping qualities.
I had for 5 years the Venture 34 what was totally different to ride, but not necessary better, just different.
However, once up planing she ride nice over the steep chop we have usually here but slammed a bit while accelerating what takes much longer as my rib what was clear,.
For the rather tough conditions she behaved well but it was a partial wet ride as the stiff wind blew the spray all over and the Eisenglass covers protected reasonable well.
When we where behind the Island in front in calm water it was a very nice ride, stable and dry. I tried her also adrift with the steep chop and she behaved well, reasonable stable with soft rolling.
Where my Marina is are no islands to protect behind so i will either have nicer conditions or refuse to go out.
The only choppy conditions is that we have in summer strong southerly thermic breezes along the shore due the mountains just behind the beach so if i leave after 11 am i would need to fight thru a similar but less high chop for about 5 miles out, more far it's dead calm and there is where i fish.
I would love to change the outboards to DF250 or the new BF350 as i guess that she will cruise more relaxed at 26 knots @ 3200 rpm using less fuel,
but this will not happen this year.
