nice, how did you like the ride?
The owner is very experienced with Grady White and this boat he had her for 11 years so i had a very good driver.
Honestly on the first sight a bit wired for such a big and heavy boat, but i am used my same size RIB with a excellent sea keeping qualities.
I had for 5 years the Venture 34 what was totally different to ride, but not necessary better, just different.
However, once up planing she ride nice over the steep chop we have usually here but slammed a bit while accelerating what takes much longer as my rib what was clear,.
For the rather tough conditions she behaved well but it was a partial wet ride as the stiff wind blew the spray all over and the Eisenglass covers protected reasonable well.
When we where behind the Island in front in calm water it was a very nice ride, stable and dry. I tried her also adrift with the steep chop and she behaved well, reasonable stable with soft rolling.
Where my Marina is are no islands to protect behind so i will either have nicer conditions or refuse to go out.
The only choppy conditions is that we have in summer strong southerly thermic breezes along the shore due the mountains just behind the beach so if i leave after 11 am i would need to fight thru a similar but less high chop for about 5 miles out, more far it's dead calm and there is where i fish.

I would love to change the outboards to DF250 or the new BF350 as i guess that she will cruise more relaxed at 26 knots @ 3200 rpm using less fuel,
but this will not happen this year.
Electronics are my dream setup
2 x 8412 xsv
1 x B265TH
1 x 18" Fantom Radar
1 x hydraulic steering pump
1 x Reactor AP pump and Garmin AP
Fusion Soundsystem

Maintained with a open check book
Yamaha 1000 hour service recently done
All new fresh and salt water pumps
2 130W Solarpanels still to install
3 brand new batteries

So i was there and had a long list to check but unfortunately i could not find any flaws ... Unfortunately for my wallet/bank account.
This sweetie is really in a near new state, the owner brought the outriggers and they look almost new while the bow cushions look definitively new as they where never used. Despite the F300 are from 2011 they look pristine under the cowling, all fresh and raw water pumps replaced, sea cock levers are working, the cockpit drains are looking good (and i will find a way to protect them from the sun) and the transom look solid with no visible cracks, hoever i will replace the bang cap sooner or later.
Well the only arguable "problem" i found was the top of the fuel tank dirty and some corrosion where the fuel pickup elbows are as he was not aware to flush it every now and then. Thats the risk i have to take but one reason to choose a GW is that fuel tank replacement seems not too difficult.
I already slammed the sale agreement and waiting impatient that he send it back, signed!
If all works out as i expect i will pick her up mid of next week and drive her about 50 nm down to my marina.
:D

So we nailed the sale down and tomorrow i will sign the contract and pay the owner.
Tuesday i will drive her 50 miles down to my marina and then the fun will start
This was a long and complicated deal to close, but we made it and owner and new owner (me) are happy!
There should not be too much work to do, moving all my stuff in and decide where and how to store and install my GSD26 somewhere to make the B265LH work as he should.

I drove her almost 50 miles down to my Marina where half was 3ft rather longer period than usual waves, a kind of weak swell.
Still impressed how she behaved and it was a very relaxed ride and i am sure she will impress me more and more
