I'm sure this has been posted somewhere but here it goes again. I'm looking for the replacement arm rests on the Grady White 2004 Marlin 30 Helm Chair. Apparently there was a recall for these due to interaction with suntan lotion, they would wear really badly.
Any clue where I can find these?

Thanks,

JT Timmons

I got replacement covers through Atlantic Marine at Wirghtsville Beach. 910-256-9911. Just ask for the parts dept.
They come as a pair complete with the glue to apply them over your existing covers. Not cheap - I think they were about 90ish bucks per pair.

Good luck.

Many moons ago they were free but GW has since stopped replacing them.

As Jim said, order direct from a GW dealer. I use either Vero Marine 772-562-7922 (ask for Boo) or Taylor Marine Center (302-422-9177).

I had the same problem on my '03 Marlin. I took the chair apart and painted the arms with Krylon Fusion ($3.95 @ Home Depot). I applied multiple coats over about 10 days following instructions on can. They look great and are holding up well so far this season. Also if they get discolored again, I have a cheap fix at hand.
