I have a 2006 282 Sailfish. Love the boat, but find that the helm area gets very hot in the NY summer heat (running, trolling, or drifting). Most of the time I open up the side eisenglass flaps, the angled windows, and (3) rear panels. It still gets hot, especially when running in rougher seas that require windows to be closed to stop the spray. Anyone have any fan setups that they like? I dont have front windshield openings in my eisenglass, but don't like that option because this is mainly an issue during wet running conditions and think that would get us wet.

vinpaa, We do not get the heat you get, but trolling on a hot day with no breeze can be a bit uncomfortable, Have a18v Rigid fan from home depot that runs silent and gets a few hours out of one charge. Moves the air around the boat to make a difference. Cheers trapper.
