Hi All,

this may be a stupid question, but I can’t seem to find an answer. I bought a 2001 300 Marlin a few months ago, and this is the first boat I’ve Had with a genset. I’ve been going through the boat and doing a lot of neglected service items, and just now got to the gen.I changed the zinc, flushed the exchanger, replaced the impelller, and changed the oil and filter. I’m ready to start it up, but I can’t find the blower switch. I found the blower motor, and I see a pair of wires coming from it (black and yellow).however, I can’t find a switch anywhere. is it run automatically by the gen? Or am I just missing a switch somewhere? I can’t seem to find any info in the manual or online anywhere.

Mine on my 330 is on the panel next to the gen start button. Need the engine switches on to turn on.

Same on my 330. It is a rocker switch on the electrical panel located in the cabin. It doesn't jump out at you.

Yeah, I don’t have a switch for it on the DC panel. I tried the one labeled “spare”, but it didn’t do anything that I could tell. That’s the only switch I’ve found on the boat that doesn’t operate something. I think I’m going to pull the panel this afternoon, and see if anything is connected to it. I suppose it could be that switch, but the blower is bad and just not working.

My blower switch is on the generator control panel.
