Help With Remote Oil Tank.

I have twin 225 yamaha 2 strokes. My port engine is not getting oil up to the engine tank from the remote tank.

I tried the manual fill switch mounted on the engine oil tank and still could get no oil through the fill hose.

I am thinking either electrical problem to the pump in the remote tank or a bad or clogged pump.

27' sailfish where the tanks are mounted under the live well.

Any advice or help would be appreciated.

I have a sailfish and one of my pumps on the oil tank rusted so had to replace. If you have a sailfish, need to remove the live well to access the pumps. There is a filter on the tank so perhaps that is clogged but I'd bet it is probably the pump. While at it if you replace the one, consider replacing the other since it will probably be next. We always use premium plus oil. I now keep 2 one gallon oil jugs on board just in case we have a failure again.
