I am sure some of you may have seen it, but wow... this past week, some yahoo that just got a Grady posted on 2 GW facebook pages and THT.

SO glad he did not post here..heh... I would have refrained, but man... people like that are what drive prices up and make getting real issues resolved harder.

Sorry....this site is so dang good....had to come here and say thanks... lol...and vent.. and drink a beer.. ok, did not really drink a beer, too early.. but thought about it.. lol

The dude with the crack? Not sure if the full story was told. Sounds fishy. Grady-White customer service is more professional and caring than what he's portraying. He probably lacks in PR skills anyway, it's all in how you approach and speak to someone dictates an outcome of certain situations.

No, a new boat shouldn't have that issue, dealer should have caught it during pre-delivery, if in fact that it was present at that time.

To post on 2 different FB pages and THT, slamming GW before it's even had time to come to a resolution, tells me that there is more to the story than what he's telling.

Yea, totally agree. Here's the thing... he posted it all...made folks believe it had not been fixed, but the repair had already been done and he was happy with it.

That was what got me irked. Each new time he posted it, after the first, acted like it just happened... and in the first one, he stated it was fixed.

I think GW took care of it quickly, and he, as he stated, just wanted financial compensation.

Anyway, like I said.. more mature crowd here.. lol.. I was just wanting to slap him through the monitor for being whiney :P

But.. I am Mr. nice.. lol

Just went and looked at his profile on THT. His join date and first post are one and the same. So he joins THT and starts out with a bash on GW. I still say there's more to it. Or this guy is a real piece of work, or both.

Looking at the dates carefully, it seems he began his tirade 3 days AFTER the gelcoat crack had already been repaired.
 
Yea, the whole thing blew up because I swore I had seen the story before. Maybe I was a bit harsh, dunno. He had a valid issue, but rough week and I was in a grumpy mood and all I could think was he lied and misled people to get free crap....heh. Oh well...all done now:p

Funny thing, if you can call it funny, was I honestly was not defending GW so much as calling his bs.
