I noticed in my thread on how many folks primarily use their Gradys in freshwater in a picture of a 225 sitting at rest on Lake Greenwood that her overboard drains are easily 1 to 2 inches above the waterline. My drains on my 228 are at the waterline with the boat empty of folks and with some gear and 1/2 tank of gas.
I have owned the boat since new and this has always been the case. I suppose the hard top And cabin materials account for this. With that said, I wonder why Grady did not take this into account and on the walk around move the hole up an inch ?
Do you guys with 22 Seafarers notice the same?
