How much is it worth. 07 225 etec .

Hey guys, I got a really good price on a new 4.2 250 Yamaha from my local dealer that I’m planning on putting on my 24’ offshore. What is a realistic number I should ask for my 2007 etec 225 w/ 850 hours. Prop and rigging included. I figured 7500.00 would be fair and I’d probably give it an 8 out of 10 as far as cosmetics go.

That number seems about right. You can put it out there for that and if nobody bites then drop the price some. These things are very market dependent. If you live in an area where etecs are popular , should be easy. Then again this is 2017 and folks may drive a bit to get good motor too. The magic of the interwebs is something to behold.

Just scour the net including E-Bay and see what they have sold for in the recent past. Appraisal by comparison.
