Am installing 30 amp electric downriggers at the rear of my 2019 Fisherman 236 and can’t figure out an easy way to ground them to the batteries at the front of the console compartment. Any suggestions?

TY!

Usually there will be a Buss Bar near your console electrical panel being fed by a heavy ground wire from your battery switch. I am not familiar with your exact boat but that's pretty standard fare. It will be something on this order....

If you find your boat does not have such a set-up, now would be a good time to install one for all your future upgrades and additions.

My downrigger wires are fused and run direct from a bus bar at the batteries. Grounded directly to batteries.
I wouldn't run them off a distribution block in the console, sounds like that's where your getting power?
