To post a picture you first need to have that picture on a webserver. If you do a search on Google you will find many sites that offer free web hosting for pictures.

Once the image is on a web server go to post a new topic in the forum. On the post a new topic page you should see a button called Img. Click on the button and text will show up in the message body. Then type in your image path for example [url=http://www.domainname.com/image.jpg]http://www.domainname.com/image.jpg[/url]. Then click on the Img button again.

It should look like the following in the message body.
[img]http://www.domainname.com/image.jpg

Submit your post and then view it. You should see your image.

Some guys have used the following web server to upload pictures:
http://www.imagecave.com/index.asp

If you have any problems let me know.

I followed the instructions precisely and could not post the pictures. What did I do wrong?

i just signed up for image cave (a quick few minutes) and first try the pic link and failed. then i coped the URL link from the EZcode and presto!
seems like the EZcode link address is the way to go for image cave.
your choices are: Direct URL, HTML, EZCode, and Thumb > pic the third (EZCode)

Is Snapfish a suitable webserver for posting pictures? I tried to post pictures of my Grady White by copying the URL but it didn't work.

Photobucket started charging for the ability to link to your pix there. That's why so many pix disappeared.

I am using imagur.com and it is still free and they claim it will stay that way...we'll see...
You will have to agree to let them sacrifice your first born at some later date of their choice....

anyways, save your pix there (copies) and you can copy the "BBCode" and paste it here.
It is best to use the reduced size on the pix so it fits in the forum window without having to scroll.

here I used the medium thumbnail size

and here I used the large thumbnail size

Maybe the sixth time attempting this from Imgur will be a charm?

Well, other than working on re-sizing a bit, seems to be the ticket!
