How to read posts - sometimes the size is too wide

Can someone explain what i need to do to be able to read posts without scrolling my screen back and forth? this isnt all posts, is it me or the site or the poster? Is there a setting on my computer or the sight or any help?

Somewhere in my memory is a, “fit to screen” key, maybe one of the F keys on the top row.
