Any ideas or guidance on the letter size? It's a 225 Tournament, with the engine bracket

You want to take measurements and maybe even use painters tape to rough out what you want.
I sign so can create scalable vector art that they can match to your measurements.
I can help you with a vector file if you know the don't you want to use. Just message me.

I would just measure the area that you want to use and stop by a local sign shop. Most decent sized towns have them. They don't charge a whole lot, either - but it makes it so much easier as they so all the figuring out for you and send you renderings/options.

Gotta figure out the area dimensions you want to fill. Then divide by the number of letters in the name, this pretty much defines the size.
Who ever is cutting the name from vinyl can take it from there. Port is usually under the name in a smaller letter size font.

I did 2" letters on mine. Text width is around 18" for your reference.

+1 for the BoatUS lettering. Clean and prep the surface area with a little bit of acetone, slap on the decal, and pop a champagne bottle for the naming party
