iPad mount for 282 Sailfish 2005

Looking for an iPad mount for my Sailfish. There is a pole right behind the dash that I think would be perfect.

1. Does anyone know what the diameter of that tube is? I'm guess it is 2" ... (I can't be back the boat till this weekend and would like to order it beforehand)
2. Does anyone do this and have any recommendations for a mount? Preferably, I do not want to drill into the dash.
