Just wanted to post about my trial with flitz before buying new curtains. As you can see not too bad. Will only use them for two months out of the year and plan to use 303 protectant on them but they came out pretty damn good with the flitz buff ball. Just warm water and soap. Dried them off. Smeared flitz around with a cloth and then buffed them like I would compound on gelcoat. Worth a shot before buying new.

That came out good from where they were. Salvaged them for sure. Love the dining room table workbench.

The trick will be how long they stay like that. Will be interesting to see if any of the outer protection was removed by it.

I assume you used the Flitz plastic restoration kit. Did you use their plastic wax protectorant also?.
I am curious as to how well the polishing holds up.

Yeah from what I read is it fads back if not keeping up with protectant. Keep the boat behind my house at the dock so no big deal to go down and put 303 on it every two weeks. I will let you know how it goes in a couple months. Here in New Jersey it will only be up for two months at end of season when sun isn’t that strong and only shining on the boat for half the day.
