The best option that I see, is cut the middle bulkhead, slide forward tank out aft, cut it and then extract it. Add a new tank that fits without having to cut out the rear bulkhead and also add to new rear tank. This should easy add up to 150 gallons. That being said, I’ll never do this! I’ll add a 100kwh battery pack and two electric outboards before I swap out another fuel tank!
Talk to Elon about a marine power division!

What you described is my current thinking too. 140/150 gallons total is fine for me.

Edit: 04/13/2022

Quick math:
aux tank 72 gallons and 27.5" long
main tank 134 gallons and 68.5" long
72/134 = 53.73% shortened tank percentage.
68.5* 53.73% = 36.8" shortened tank length.

A new main tank 36.8" long would be 72 gallons. The aux tank is 27.5" add 8.5" with the bulkhead out = 36". There may be a little more room for the tank but its real close to equal tank capacities.

Does anyone have experience pulling new fuel fill and fuel vent hoses? Which end? How did you couple them? How easy or hard was the project?

I'm comfortable with replacing the tanks. I have a plan there but there hoses thru the hull concern me.

Hi Guys. I did screwed up. Found out that the "missing tank" is not the main, it's the reserve ( 72 gallons). and I guess this boat never had it since there is only one intake for gasoline.
