Over winter there was another member who created a thread for me to post photos of his trailer setup. My setup actually looked better than his, but my stability was terrible. I'm happy to report it is fixed. That said I'm blown away as to the cause. Here are things I checked and rechecked:
* Tire pressure
* Tongue weight
* Trailer level
* Wheel bearing play
* Tow vehicle tire pressure
* Axle alignment
* Brake drag
And probably another thing or two I forgot.
The solution? Messuring the height of the I-beam at the front of the trailer from the pavement gave me 22". At the rear was 23". I raised my tow ball one more notch. The front now measures 23" and the rear is 22". Somehow having the front of the trailer 1" higher than the rear completely eliminated the sway issue. My previous trailer was no where near as sensitive as this one, but for whatever reason it is. Hopefully this can save others from a headache.
