Finally got my 282 (sold the 257 I loved to go just a bit larger).

Boat has a Jabsco electric head which I want to clean. I have the boat on a trailer, so to wash down and flush the head, does it need to be in the water? if not, where does the water come from to flush?

thanks :hmm

The water comes through a thru hull fitting. There are two deacons under the floor right in front of the refigerator. There is an access port in the floor for easy access. One seacock is for the water for flushing and the other one is for waste pump out. The pump out should be closed and secured in case of an ispection. You could always use a hose to fill the head for flushing on land for cleaning purpose. Good luck you will love the boat
