I took a chance on the weather today and I am glad I did, it ended up being a pretty morning.
I departed Rudee Inlet in Virginia Beach Virginia at 0700hrs on my jet ski and headed 16 miles offshore to the Chesapeake Light Tower for some Spadefish. The sea conditions were great at 1-2 ft and the visibility under water was at least thirty feet. This was my first attempt at taking some under water pictures, I managed to get a couple that I think show how plentiful the Spades are some days. I was also trying to show the structure. I speared four nice Spades and two Triggerfish today. I also saw some big Amberjack and a couple of Baracuda cruise by. On the way back in I stopped at the ocean front and took a couple of pictures, there is always so much going on there. Back at the ramp at 1200 hrs. Covered 38 miles and burned 9.2 gallons. I was home in Poquoson by 1330 hrs, just in time for it to rain. Perfect timing for a perfect morning!

Brian: Great and enjoyable as usual - thanks. What kind of camera and/or housing for the UW shots?

I have a little Fujifilm camera I got at Costco, it is only rated at 10 ft.
The rest of the pictures were with my Nikon D-40.
